Kat Robbins of Kat Robbins Interiors

Kat

Kat Robbins is an award winning, interior designer, whose work has been featured in The Philadelphia Inquirer, Main Line Today magazine and 6ABC Action News.

Passionate about creating experiences and spaces that people interact with every day, Kat has founded several successful companies, including two restaurants, a mural painting business and in 2007, Kat Robbins Interiors.   She brings all of this experience to bear in designing spaces that clients can feel reflect their unique individual style.  Her strengths include listening (a forgotten art!), designs that are both beautiful and functional, problem solving, and a respect for project budgets.

Curious, self taught and relentless about “getting it right,” Kat is adept at pinpointing a clients aesthetic, even if unarticulated, and sourcing the finishes  and furnishings that clients really connect with.  She  seeks creative solutions to the inevitable unexpected issue that may arise and is cooperative with outside team members.  No diva vibe here!

A three time recipient of the Philadelphia Interior Design Awards, Kat has also served as the President of the Philadelphia Chapter of the International Furnishings and Design Association, as well as at At Large Member on the National Board.

Recent projects include global cosmetics brand Beauty Blender HQ in Bethlehem PA  and GoPuff HQ in Northern Liberties, Philadelphia.

A native of Philadelphia’s Main Line, Kat is an avid cook and entertainer, and spends most of her free time staring at her dog Shiloh or taking that 14,000th photo of him.

Dana

Dana Waldman is a graduate of Arcadia University with a BFA in Interior Design. She has assisted Kat throughout the years while completing other freelance work doing both interior and industrial design. Most recently, she has provided work for brands such as Dosist, Evolab, and JackRabbit, designing product displays, retail fixtures, as well as visual merchandising and other creative services.

In her own designs, she brings nature to the forefront, harnessing our connection with the natural world to create healing and restorative spaces. Enthusiastic and detail-oriented, Dana creates with passion and purpose, and always with sustainability in mind.

When she is not working or snuggling with her dog, you’ll find Dana exploring nature, volunteering, or creating something out of clay.

Jason DiFabrizio

Jason

Jason DiFabrizio is our preferred General Contractor that we recommend to clients.  He has been working as a home renovation specialist since 1997-focused on interior renovation and restoring historic properties.

Jason lived in Aspen CO from 2003-2006 and collaborated with Avalanche Construction to fit out an $8 million shell at the base of Buttermilk Mountain.  His construction team performed a 30 day total renovation of the Double Diamond Club, (now known as Belly Up Aspen) which was open for business for the 2004 Winter X Games.

His strengths include client relations, realistic project timeline development, exceptional sub-contractor management, budget management, small space design, creative problem solving with built environment constraints.  And of course, long, flowing hair.

Everyone we have referred him to has commented on his sunshiny demeanor and friendliness. He is the guy you want in your house at 7am.

Shiloh the Dog

Shiloh

Shiloh was our mascot and biggest cheerleader who blessed us with his love for 12 years. He was a mutt who came from the streets of South Carolina.  Aided by the rescue organization All 4 Paws, Shiloh made his way to Wayne PA in 2012 where he became an immediate member of the family.  He was a gentle presence on job sites that welcomed him, provided real time UPS and FedEx alerts, and kept everyone calm at the office while napping in his bed. He was the best boy. We love you always, Shi!
